Elaine Aldrete for State Senate
Democrat for Arizona’s Legislative District 16 (LD16)
Elaine is a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, businesswoman, instructor, and community volunteer. She is honest, compassionate, imaginative, dependable, and open-minded.
After leaving the corporate world she has served on numerous nonprofit boards including Boxes of Hope AZ (www.BoxesOfHopeAz.org ) - Building a path to stable housing and self-sufficiency.
She formed the nonprofit Teaching Life Choices, Inc (TLC) in 2012 - Dedicated to captivating and engaging the minds of youth to learn, have fun and make good life choices. TLC distributes books to elementary and middle schools which Elaine has published through Mission Point Press. TLC also awards first time, low income, college students $500 scholarships for books and/or lab fees.
Elaine is an elected Governing Board Member of the Drexel Heights Fire District.
Elaine is the current 1st Vice Chair of LD16 and a State Committee Member. She has worked on several campaigns: Gabriella Cázares-Kelly, Kirsten Engel, Adrian Fontes, Betty Villegas, Mariana Sandoval, Keith Seaman, and Stacey Seaman.
Now it's time for Elaine to move to the next level. After running the 2006 Honolulu Marathon and training many runners to complete ½ marathons, Elaine has the endurance it will take to win this race.
